About BadAssCamping

Our Approach

World travellers Colin & Maria love the great outdoors! Their passion is their life, and their life is backpacking. They were married in a small town in the Scottish Highlands and have been backpacking and camping since they met in 2004.

Long distance hiking, car camping, and weekend adventures, it’s what they’re about. In 2018, Colin was lucky enough to hike the Appalachian Trail, south bound. When it comes eating gourmet by campfire, Maria knows how to whip it up, pack it in and amaze those that chow down.

Their philosophy is simple, get out and go for a hike!

If you have any questions, comments, recipes, stories, if you want to be featured or any suggestions, they’d be glad to hear from you! Just simply email [email protected]

Thanks for checking out the site, and as always, Happy Trails!
